This project started almost a year ago as muyiwaokeolaweekly. I wish to express my sincere gratitude to all my fans for your comments and encouragement.

In the quest to strongly establish and make it more impactful, muyiwaokeolaweekly is now taketheLEAD. The primary objective of this project, taketheLEAD is to inspire somebody to become a better person, live a meaningful and impactful life. When you taketheLEAD of your life, you automatically become a better person because you have better control of your life. What I am saying in essence is that taking the lead means taking control of your life. Every human being has the capacity to take control of his life and consequently live a better and impactful life. You might be wondering, if everybody has the capacity to take control of their life and become whatever they want in life, why then do most people struggle just to meet their basic needs? The reason is simply because they have surrendered their God-given right to take control their life to either another person or to a material thing.

People cede control of their lives mostly to their employers, government, parents and circumstances by complaining and blaming them for their undesirable situations. It is very easy for people to blame someone else for their misfortune rather than taking responsibility for their lives and find a way out of the problem. Consequently, their life is inevitably controlled by the person or the circumstance that is blamed for their predicament. By blaming someone or something for your undesirable situation, you automatically lose control of the situation. When you are shifting the blame away from yourself, what you are saying is that I am not responsible for the situation. This attitude sends a wrong signal to your thinking faculty. The wrong signal shuts down your thinking faculty and prevents it from suggesting possible solutions to the problem. This results in the absolute loss of control of the situation. The terrible thing about not having control of any situation is that you will never be able to predict the eventual outcome. Hence, it means that if you are not in control of your life, you cannot predict what or where you will be tomorrow. The implication of this is nothing but a life that is full of uncertainties. I know someone might say that only God has the capacity to control what happens in future. If you have that thought, remember what God said in the bible, that we should have dominion (Gen 1:28 … “then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth”). Dominion means control. God did not say we should abdicate control to somebody or something, rather He told us to have dominion. The point I am making here is that by this statement, God has given us the right and the capacity to take control over our lives and live a meaningful, impactful and prosperous life. Why then will you give-up this golden right to somebody or something else and consequently live a miserable life that is full of uncertainties? Why will someone prefer to live in abject poverty instead of exercising his right and live a prosperous life?
